How Can You Just Be If You Don't Know Who You Are?

If I asked you to tell me who you are, how would you begin?

Would you describe yourself in terms of relationships? Roles that you play?

Would you tend to lean into what you DO instead of who you are?

Who are you, really? Right now. Without using terms that refer to others, as in 'sister,' 'lover,' 'mother,' 'father,' how would you describe yourself?

Who are you, without referring to what you do for a living? Without referring to a place that you go or how you spend your time? You may be a 'teacher,' 'student,' 'engineer,' 'firefighter,' but if we take away the time you spend in that role, who are you?

Be still and know that I AM ________________?

God? Goddess? Peace? Divinity? Flow?

Be still and find out.

Who are you?

Today, after time spent in the stillness I found Peace. Just for today, I AM Peace.

As I re-enter the world, interact with others, take care of business, I may forget I am peace. But in a few deep breaths, I can come home again to peace. I can remember who I AM on a soul level over and over again.

That is the invitation. To remember and re-remember over and over again who you are.

Be still.

Remember.

Whatever it is, be that in the world. Be Love. Be Peace. Be the Divine. Be Joy.

That is all you need to Do. Be who you really are...
